Welcome to the FUEL SoCal

What Is FUEL?

FUEL stands for Focused Users Enabling Learning. It's the official Palo Alto Networks user community for Southern California — a peer-driven network built to connect security professionals through events, education, and authentic networking.

This is not a vendor roadshow. It's not a lead-gen event dressed up as a community. FUEL exists because the security professionals across Los Angeles, Orange County, Irvine, and San Diego deserve a consistent, high-quality space to learn from each other, share what's working, and build relationships that actually last.

The Palo Alto Networks platform touches nearly every corner of modern security infrastructure. FUEL SoCal is where the practitioners, architects, and leaders running that platform come together to push their knowledge further — and to help each other do the same.

What FUEL Does

FUEL SoCal delivers programming designed for security professionals at every stage of their career:

Cybersecurity Events — Locally produced, peer-focused gatherings built for real knowledge exchange. These aren't product demos — they're conversations among professionals who are living the same challenges and building on the same platforms.

Workshops — Hands-on, skills-forward sessions that close the gap between knowing a technology and truly mastering it. Learning that happens in a room full of practitioners hits differently than watching a webinar alone.

Happy Hours — Some of the best security conversations happen away from a conference stage. FUEL's networking events create low-pressure, high-value spaces where professionals can connect authentically — not transactionally.

Where WE Operate

Southern California is enormous. FUEL SoCal takes that seriously.

Events spans the full region:

What FUEL Believes

FUEL SoCal is built on a clear conviction: the best way to advance cybersecurity outcomes is to invest in the people doing the work.

That means centering peer learning over vendor messaging. It means building events where a senior security architect and a SOC analyst in their second year can both walk away with something valuable. It means recognizing that Southern California isn't one market — it's a collection of distinct security communities, each worth showing up for.

The industry moves fast. Threats evolve constantly. The only sustainable edge is a community of professionals who are continuously learning — from training, from experience, and from each other. FUEL SoCal is built to accelerate all three.

How FUEL Partners Across SoCal

FUEL SoCal doesn't do this alone. The community is built through partnerships — with Palo Alto Networks, with regional security organizations, academic institutions, enterprise security teams, and community leaders who understand that investing in the community is investing in their own people.

Those partnerships are what make it possible to deliver quality programming at scale across a geography as expansive as Southern California — and to keep events accessible to professionals at every level.

If your organization shares this mission and wants to bring FUEL program to your team or region, FUEL SoCal wants to hear from you.
